Rooted in community. Growing together since 2003.Our story

Our story

A legacy of walking
alongside young people.

Founded in August 2003, Savannah Intercultural Institute brings character, purpose and community into the journey of growing up.

Founded in August 2003

From a little establishment
to a shared journey.

Savannah Intercultural Institute was founded in August 2003. What began as a small establishment grew through mentorship in schools, communities, churches and other spaces where young people meet.

At a time when HIV/AIDS was affecting many lives, mentorship addressed relationships, sexual behaviour and personal health alongside character, leadership, attitudes and habits.

The work also explored career direction, finances, responsibility and the everyday choices that shape a life. These remain important parts of Savannah’s story.
