Direction becomes clearer when we ask questions, try things and learn from experience.
Your next step may be returning to learning, seeking work, exploring a trade, starting a small enterprise or building confidence. These journeys differ. Your worth does not depend on following somebody else’s timetable.
Notice what you already bring
Think about a task you enjoy, a responsibility you handle well and something people regularly ask you to help with. These can offer clues about your abilities. Ask a trusted person what strengths they see in you.
Explore before you decide
Speak to someone working in a field that interests you. Ask what their ordinary day involves, what skills they use and how they began. When possible, take part in a practical activity or volunteer task to learn more.
Make the next step manageable
Write down one action you can take this week, what it requires and who can support you. Keep it realistic. A small step completed teaches more than an ambitious plan never started.
Your mentorship circle is a place to discuss possibilities and reflect on your progress. Advice should help you make an informed decision, not pressure you into a choice.
